This photograph was taken yesterday, Sunday, 08.15.2010, at St. John's in the Village. I had just sung J.S. Bach's great aria "Deposuit potentes," "He has put down the mighty," from his "Magnificat" for the feast of the Assumption of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, into Heaven. You can tell by the smile on my face that it went very well indeed, and forgive me for saying that it was an amazing moment.
